FAQs
Questions families ask
What do I need to get admitted?
Planned admissions follow a consultation with one of our doctors in the OPD, where a date and time are allotted. Unplanned admissions happen from the emergency room, where patients come with sudden-onset health issues. Not all patients need to be admitted — some may be treated and discharged safely from the emergency room.
How can my mediclaim be processed?
Yes. We handle cashless and reimbursement claims for major insurers and TPAs. Bring your insurance card and your doctor’s admission advice, and our medical-insurance helpdesk will guide you through the process.
Can I choose my room type?
Subject to availability, you can choose a general ward, a semi-private or private cabin, or a suite. However, if your doctor assigns a particular type of accommodation — isolation, ICU, SDU, etc. — you will need to adhere to that.
Will I get a cost estimate before admission?
Yes. We share an estimate up front, and our billing desk informs you of the daily changes to the estimate throughout your stay.
Can my family stay with me?
Your family may stay with you if you choose to be admitted in one of our suites.
Can I keep my mobile with me?
Yes — you may keep your mobile, provided it is allowed by your treating consultant and you are staying in one of our private cabins or suites.
Can I bring food & personal items from home?
Yes — you may bring food and personal items from home, provided it is allowed by your treating consultant and our clinical nutritionist.
Will children be allowed to visit me?
Yes. Children may visit on Sundays for all admitted patients, and throughout the week if you choose to stay in one of our private cabins or suites.
Planning an admission?
Our admissions desk will walk you through every step.
